I invite everyone to join me and scores of community members at Fall Frolic this Saturday, Saturday, November 10th from 8AM to 4PM. Catch up with old acquaintances, meet new and past parents, and make new friends as we work together to complete outdoor projects and ready our magical campus and school gardens and grounds for winter. We will be raking mountains of leaves, tidying up the perennial beds, making repairs on the playground, planting trees, and much more.
The measure of how our community cares for our campus and one another impacts the very culture and all that we value at BFS. Fall Frolic is another opportunity for all of us to invest in this special place, the community we value, and the success of our children and each other.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided for you and your children.
So….,go find your work gloves, grab a rake, and pull on your boots. Whether you can stop by for an hour or stay all day, I look forward to seeing you there.
PS A very special thanks to every community member who participated in one of eight strategic planning forums this week. Your ability to articulate our core values, join in collective thinking processes, and imagine the future health and vitality of BFS has been essential to our process. REMINDER: if you have not done so already, today is the last day to complete the survey.
